This is one of the pages that would benefit a lot from the ability to ‘blow it up’ and see the details in high resolution. Do you ever plan to release large size pages or anything like that?
…but I admit that I wouldn’t want it to see the people in the photographs better— I don’t want to spoil Mike-related storylines to little ol’ me XD I’m very curious about the upper right corner of the page, with all those scribbles and ideograms, though XD (little question: do the… uhhh, is that korean? and the other ideograms actually mean something, how can I say it? uhmmm, serious? as opposed as being something like “do not throw objects out of the window” or the like XD)
DUUUDE, I *SO* have to change your link nice new site, I like it ^^ so simple and neat <3
Basically I just wanted to know what the jokes were. Like the ones on the page and whatever the joke was on Vel’s dad’s grave was. I was sure there was some sort of a rebuttal to ‘It’s not considered funny to put jokes on your tombstone…* *But..’ or whatever it said.
haha shae, I don’t know if even mike is weird enough to wear the trenchcoat even in the safety of his own home. :O
Snaga- the photographs would really give nothing away. They might add confusion though. haha. Um the korean and japanese are supposed to be newspaper headlines from clippings he’d saved. I can tell you they are related to him, but unless you can translate, that isn’t much help The other signs..should be familiar. You’ve all seen them before I’m also sure he has taken random notes to himself on the level of “do not throw objects out the window..of moving vehicles, unless in life or death situation”
Noggy–I’m not sure what you mean about Fred’s tombstone. He was a cheerful, sometimes silly man, and I thought the tombstone etching was just made to further indicate such. Any other jokes in particular you are referring to?
Sometimes a man has to write on the wall, hah. I like his little spiritual pyramid going there, unfortunately not all the symbols are familiar, so I can’t tell what alot of the middle ones are, anyone care to try and identify em?
Helios!
It isn’t a spiritual pyramid actually. It is..a conspiracy pyramid, with his own abbreviations and coded notes to himself. I could show the englarged version if you wish, but I’m not sure it would be much help..and I may have miffed up a few things.
It’s okay, also, do you draw all the lettering in you comics or do you use fonts from your computer, because the script for “buy paint” and the Korean/Japanese look really well done.
Though all of this used paper (that is a massive stack, well into the thousands there) and the amount of CDs he buys are starting to make me wonder what he does for a job. Considering his personality and suspicious nature, I’m going to assume either a writer or government worker. And I say government worker because I know for fact that some of the most government conspiracy/paranoia people are the ones who know some of what goes on in government.
Hate to be “that guy” but what is up with no updates? Is something up or is life just more important right now? I only ask because I really really enjoy this comic but find myself frustrated at the complete lack of updates recently. Just curious because I don’t want to stop reading and checking the site if updates are coming. Hope I didn’t sound like too much of a jerk

Matthias, you have every right to be “that guy”. I would be the same way as a reader, because I hate when web comic creators pull this shit. I’m going to write an explanation right after I comment on this.

No, I don’t, but if you have questions, and I have answers, I will give them as long as it doesn’t spoil things. :3
